Some colleagues were having issues while screen sharing on MacOS. After a few minutes of sharing on apps like Slack and Chrome, it would unexpectedly stop. It never happened to me until a few days ago.
The reason? My machine's SSD was almost full. For some reason, screen sharing seems to consume a huge amount of swap memory, even when the machine has enough free RAM available.
Just clean up your storage, free up some space, and everything goes back to normal. I strongly recommend mole for helping on this process.
I've reported the issue and hope it gets fixed in a future version of the operating system.
Credits to my coworker Gilliardi who pointed me to this fix.
